Once again Winter Garden Hotel has made an “all in one hole”, by supporting and organising a unique opportunity of fun and educational entertainment in the world of golf. A pleasant regenerating break, that surprised and captivated all participants, from golf lovers to beginners of the green.
The event, called “Don’t Stress, Play Golf”, was organised to learn the secrets and techniques of golf alongside expert players, to discover this sport’s restorative power and compete in a professional golfer’s tournament.
The event was held on Sunday, October 14, not far from the city of Bergamo, in the picturesque location amidst the lush vegetation of the Parco dei Colli, thanks to two separate events for both professional and amateur.
The first, dedicated to the guests of Winter Garden Hotel and others, began with a welcome coffee followed by a couple of hours of trial lessons with professional players to learn the fundamental elements of golf. Finally, there was a mini competition between the participants on the putting green and a light brunch to close the day. A truly entertaining and relaxing day, surrounded by the lush greenery of the Colli, to treat guests to a break from the stress of day to day life.
The second, dedicated to all professional golfers, was the 2nd edition of the Winter Garden Golf Cup, after the success of the first edition held in June, an 18-hole Stableford competition that involved 3 categories of players, from the under 21 to the over 37. Following the awards ceremony, with prizes offered by the Winter Garden, and a gift given to all participants, both players and spectators enjoyed a cocktail organised by the Hotel.
