Golf is a passion that the Winter Garden Hotel has been reconfirming for years, owing to the countless initiatives offered to its guests and not only. After the successful editions of the past, this year the Hotel promoted a sponsor circuit of five competitions at the enchanting location of Parco dei Colli, just a stone’s throw from Bergamo.
The first four tournaments took place between May and June and were widely attended by golf enthusiasts and experts alike. All the races ended with outdoor aperitifs and evenings bearing the Winter Garden Hotel signature, accompanied by tantalizing cuisine and fine music.
The final event was held in October: a Golf Cup, a round of Stableford competition, 18 holes for 3 categories. A unique opportunity for golf lovers which captivated everyone, from the most experienced players to beginners on the green eager to learn how to play the sport.
What was new in this edition? Winter Garden Hotel was in charge of organizing the event, while the L’Officina Restaurant dealt with receiving participants and refreshments for the day, from the pre-competition welcome coffee to an original lunch on the grass. At the same time, an outdoor buffet with autumn flavours was provided next to the golf course, with awards and gifts offered by Winter Garden Hotel for all participants, on a festive day dedicated to golf.
